Each year, CARPology goes from strength-to-strength, and 2006 saw the launch of our highly successful website with buy-on-line facilities, forum and weekly e-newsletter which currently has over 3,000 registered members taking our readership to new levels.
      CARPology is continually striving to be one step ahead of the competition, with new and innovative ideas that deliver bolt-on mechanics that other titles don’t possess, which pushes your companies awareness to the public eye.
      Through financial commitment we inject every year into the distribution network, our sales are continually growing 2007 will be no different, and all funds will be pushed into this area, as it is the largest factor in circulation.
      Promotions have been booked throughout the year with WHSmith’s, Premier Group, Blockbuster, TM Retail and a full commitment from Borders.
Content and Character
CARPology is a celebration of the carp angler. Written in a stylish and free flowing way that the reader can understand and relate to. The design of the magazine is very modern, and the ‘broken up’ matter in which it is designed means the readers spends more time investigating each page.
      CARPology is described as the “complete” magazine. Unlike any other title with the carp-fishing sector, CARPology covers all areas of the carp fishing; from basics to ‘advanced’ tactics and methods.
Target Market
The target reader is 28-years-old, with a core target of 15- to 40-year-olds. This is our bulk audience, however, we do have readers as young as ten and going to the other end of the spectrum, readers who are 70-years-old.
      CARPology is primarily aimed at men. The typical CARPology reader has a strong sense of adventure, fashion, and willingness to learn. He wants to be entertained without wasting his time, and most of all he wants to have learnt something by the time he’s finished reading it.
