New Prologic Clothing

Just in the nick of time, Prologic drops a few winter warmers to save our bacon!

You know you need to look after yourself, right? No more freezing nights in totally inadequate clothing. It’s time to kick the ‘fashionably-decrepit’ Converse out, and the holey joggers… they just don’t cut it anymore. Treat yourself to some clothing that’s actually been thought through, and designed for cold-weather use. Luckily for you, Prologic has put together a range that’s been designed for carpers just like you. Want to know what makes this kit even better? The price. It’s quality gear, yet every piece comes in under a ton. Now, that we like.

1. Highgrade Thermo Suit

A full-on, 8,000mm waterproof, insulated suit for less than £100? Nope, we have no idea how they do that either! You’ve got some useful features too, such as a detachable, insulated hood with wired storm peak, adjustable cuffs and waist, two-way zipper on the bib and brace, and reinforced knee sections. If you’re looking to cure your winter ills in one fell swoop, then look no further than this combo, because you’ll struggle to find a better one for this price.
“GIMME”: £99.99

2. Heritage Thermo Jacket

This is the consummate winter jacket. It’s 100% waterproof (watch out for jackets that claim to be ‘water-resistant’!) and luxuriously lined with 100% polyester micro fleece. Crucially, the whole assembly is breathable, which means that any sweat can wick away from the skin’s surface, keeping you dry and warm, even after tough barrow pushes. The cut is protective, with a high, fleece-lined collar and insulated hood (detachable), adjustable cuff and waist to eliminate drafts.
“GIMME”: £99.99

3. Heritage Thermo B&B

The bib and brace accompaniment to the Heritage Thermo Jacket. When worn in combination, you’re talking about a totally waterproof, insulated shell that sends the worst of the UK weather packing, and then some. Just like the jacket, the outer is soft, yet protective, and all seams are taped for reliability. The knee areas are reinforced with strong nylon Taslan Oxford material so you can kneel among the mud without fear of damaging the suit.
“GIMME”: £89.99

4. Litepro Thermo Jacket

The perfect layering jacket for cold-weather use. The Litepro is made from lovely, soft rip-stop fabric, and finished in a carpy green colour. Unusually for a soft jacket, it’s totally waterproof, which we love! Just like the other products we’re highlighting here, the Litepro is breathable too, an attribute that’s aided by zippable vents under the arms. Sweat is your enemy, as it cools you down if it can’t escape, so this jacket gets a great big tick for that.
“GIMME”: £79.99

5. Litepro Thermo B&B

An ultra-lightweight bib and brace that compliments the impressive Litepro Jacket. Just like the jacket, the bib and brace is made from soft, rip-stop shell fabric, with lightweight polyester insulation. It’s a 100% waterproof fabric too, which is essential for braving a UK winter, as we all know to our cost. We love the carpy, olive-green colour too, because deep down, we all know that aesthetics are important!
“GIMME”: £69.99
