Summer Fox drop
Another four weeks has passed so you know what that means: another freight-load of brand-new Fox products – yeeesssss!

Reflex Compact

Receiving the full white sheet “Ta-daa!” treatment, this month Fox have a brand-new pram-hood style bivvy, and as its name would suggest, it’s ideal for tight swims, short session and keeping mobile.

Benefiting from their new Ventec Rip Stop fabric and top quality lightweight aero-grade flexible aluminium poles, the Reflect Compact isn’t just packed with features and lightness, it also represents outstanding value for money.

Said Ventec fabric has a hydrostatic head over 20,000mm meaning it’s ridiculously waterproof; it comes with three door panel options: Sold Ventec, Clear PVC or Mozzy Mesh; all door options feature double zips; there’s front and rear mozzy mesh vents for increased airflow; and the front is fully removable, allowing you to convert it into a lightweight, open front shelter.

Along with adjustable front pegging points to create a completely flat-fronted shelter, there’s rod straps, internal mesh pockets for storing your phone/receiver, it also comes supplied with support poles, heavy-duty pegs, groundsheet and an oversized carry bag. “GIMME”: Bivvy, £389.99; Winter Skin, £139.99; foxint.com

The Duralite is light - like 3.2kgs light

Duralite Chair

The guest chair with arms shows no sign of abating with this strong but exceptionally lightweight (just 3.2kgs) Duralite Magnesium Alloy construction frame offering from Fox. 3D mesh and polyester padded seat aids comfort whilst keeping the overall weight down; it has fully adjustable legs that lock into position; said arm rests for added comfort and large swivelling mud feed. And breathe… “GIMME”: £84.99

Garments

Fox goes all summery with their latest Chunk collection drop

1. Long Sleeve Zipped Top Khaki/Camo

A nice modern-day twist on the classic angling jumper: camo sleeves with a khaki body. It features minimal branding, is made from 100% cotton and comes in sizes small right up to XXXL. “GIMME”: £19.99

2. Fox Chunk Zipped Hoody Khaki

Considering Chunk is only a couple of years old, Fox is totally bossing the tough over-populated angling attire market. The Zipped Hoody features shoulder and elbow patches, and subtle branding on the chest and zips. “GIMME”: £19.99

3. Fox Chunk Stonewash Polo Khaki

More subtle hints at Fox’s love for camo right now: look inside the neck collar and the top corner of the front pocket. This too is made from 100% cotton so there’s zero chance of shrinkages and comes in sizes S to XXXL. “GIMME”: £19.99

4. Stonewash Marl T-Shirt Olive

A very Superdry-esque style tee from our Essex-based behemoths. Large, worn-effect logo on the front, detailing on the collar and a small tag along the base of the T-Shirt. Available in sizes S to XXXL and retails for £14.99

5. Fox Chunk Stonewash T-Shirt Khaki

When it’s roaring out there you need something which will keep you feeling as cool as you want to look and the Stonewash T-Shirt with its 100% cotton make-up is that tee. Again, available in sizes S through to XXXL. “GIMME”: £14.99

6. Long Sleeve Zipped Top Khaki/Camo

A nice modern-day twist on the classic angling jumper: camo sleeves with a khaki body. Once again, it features minimal branding, is made from 100% cotton and comes in sizes S right up to XXXL. “GIMME”: £19.99

Bits and pieces

More new drops this month

Power Grip Catapult – Method Pouch

Meet the ultimate groundbait catty. The moulded pouch prevents the balls from being crushed; the curved ergonomic handle increases comfort and control; the teardrop profile on the handle prevents twisting; and the wide elastic connections reduce tangling. It’s impressive. “GIMME”: £12.99

Exocet Trans Khaki

One of Fox’s finest long-range casting lines gets a lovely helping of their award-winning Trans Khaki finish. The combination of a low and a supple finish means you’ll be hitting previously unachievable marks. Available in 10, 13, 16, 18, 20 and 23lb BS. “GIMME”: £19.99 for 1,000m

Exocet Trans Khaki Tapered Mono

A lot of venues don’t allow shockleaders. Their blanket definition? Anything which is connected with a knot. These 300m spools start at 35lb (0.50mm) and taper down to 12 or 15lb (0.30 and 0.33mm) and will allow you to cast in excess of 180m but will still clear lake security. “GIMME”: £9.99
