Bow down to the lightest, quickest and best priced shelter Cyprinus have ever produced

You wouldn’t think it, looking at Cyprinus Tackle’s current output, but just five years ago they didn’t even exist. But in that short period they’ve gone from zero to one of eBay’s biggest sellers of fishing tackle. From beds and barrows to bivvies and bedchairs, they’re taking on every area of the carp market and are currently winning. And winning big. It would appear they’ve clearly hit a note with all you CARPologists – and why wouldn’t they? Super competitive prices, super efficient service, free next-day delivery and, most of all, their superbly made products.

Thanks to its space-saver central hub, it means you have loads of internal space

This month sees the company launch a whole heap of new products along with fresh restock of existing items, but this time we’re taking a look at their new V3 Brolly – a super compact and lightweight oval brolly which can be converted into a fully fledged bivvy system thanks to an overwrap.

The first thing to note about the new V3 60” Oval Brolly Shelter is it comes fitted with a clever space-saving frame and this results in a more compact central hub and internal rib assembly and this means masses of extra headroom for you and more space at the back for your bedchair.

The V3 60” Oval comes complete with a Velcro attachment groundsheet

Quality and outstanding value

It’s not only got plenty of room inside, it’s also incredibly stable thanks to having four ribs in contact with the ground, and when coupled with the two storm rods (which come supplied) it finally means you can buy an oval that really is rooted to the bank.

The build quality, as we’ve discovered over the past six-months of testing Cyprinus’s products, is absolutely faultless. Manufactured from high-grade PU coated nylon which has a hydrostatic head of 3000mm, it features ultra light aerospace grade poles and comes complete with groundsheet, heavy-duty pegs and storm poles and these, along with the brolly when all packed away in the carry bag weigh just 7kgs.

Plus two storm poles

And heavy-duty pegs

Should you be 55 not 25 and require a bit more protection as we move from the summer into autumn, then you’ll be pleased to hear Cyprinus offer a V3 60” Overwrap, which, when fitted alongside the Velcro attachment groundsheet which will stop all draughts, you’re left with one proper, full-blown bankside home.

What’s really brilliant, though, is neither of these two items will give your wallet a workout; it won’t even break out into a mini sweat. The V3 Brolly normally retails for £139.99 but right now at cyprinus.co.uk you’ll find it for just £79.99, whilst the wrap is just £69.99, not the usual RRP of £99.99! And just in case you didn’t realise, all their products are post free, next-day if ordered before 2pm and they also offer a ‘14 Day Money Back Guarantee’!
