How to tie the perfect Hinged Stiff Link
Four key points for tying up the perfect Hinged Stiff Link

1 Although the Figure-Of-Eight-Loop Knot is everyone’s standard knot, use the Non-Slip-Loop Knot – it’s far stronger.

2 Always trim away the excess of the knot neatly before carefully blobbing with a lighter for that extra security and safety.

3 To secure your hooking section (basically a Choddy) to the swivel on the boom section, just use a Two-Turn Blood Knot.

4 A great tip! Mould the putty into a cone and passing through the swivel eye before shaping like this – it’ll hold way, way better.
