This is a message from Kevin Nash himself on the recall of his new Titan Brolly AS’s…
“It has come to my notice that we have a manufacturing issue with the first batch of Titan Brolly All Seasons that where sent out to our customers just before Christmas. This came to light after a customer rang us to say that the pegging points seemed to be too high to peg down properly, and that he was struggling to retain a grip in sandy soil.
“Immediately, I checked some of our stock and found that the covers had been cut 4-5cm too tightly, resulting in the pegging points being too high off the ground. This puts undue pressure on the pegs, and affects their potential to grip in soft terrain. Read more …

“I had not been down to my winter venue since before Christmas when I blanked for a two night session. I took the water temperature when I left and it was 4.4 degrees, which is bordering on the lake freezing. So with the windy and mild weather we had over New Year I decided to get back down to the lake. When I did, I took the water temperature when I arrived and it was 6.9 degrees, which was a vast improvement and gave me confidence that I might catch one. After a walk round I decided to fish the same swim that I had caught the 41lb mirror fish back in early December. Read more …

I have to admit, I haven’t had as much time for fishing recently as I would have wanted. With Christmas and work commitments I’ve found myself struggling to find any time to do what I want to do personally. It’s the harsh reality of coming out of college and straight into a working environment! Anyway, I managed to get out this weekend for 24hrs at my old winter grounds and ex-working environment Waveney Valley Lakes. This session my good mate, Ben Spinks joined me; this was his first session down The Valley and with my good previous experience I chose us both to go on Heartsmere Lake. Read more …
