JOE WRIGHT
EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, PART OWNER


Joe has always had a massive passion for fishing since the age of five, who like Rob, fished for roach, crucian carp, bream and perch. From fishing in his garden pond and then onto the River Waveney in Norfolk, he finally progressed into carp fishing when he was 12-years-old, fishing down at Weybread Pits and Waveney Valley Lakes. Since then hes fished the likes of Redmire Pool, Kevin Nashs Church Lake and numerous waters around the Yateley area. After working for a previous angling publishing house, Joe left the company and form Toffee Publications Ltd with Rob Bell in 2003 the publishers of CARPology. Joe oversees both CARPology and the sister title, Maximum Carp.

ROB BELL
SALES DIRECTOR, PART OWNER


Rob has been fishing since a young age and started out fishing for roach, perch and generally anything that swam before progressing to carp fishing at the age of 12. After he started driving, Rob progressed onto many waters including Stansted Abbotts and Waveney Valley Lakes. Whilst working at CARPology, Rob has had the privilege to fish some of the countrys top carp waters including Yateley, Frimley and Kevin Nashs Lake. Rob is CARPologys Sales Director and part owner; some of his job roles include selling, advertising and building relationships with clients.

KARL JACKSON
ACCOUNTS, PART OWNER


Karl is also part owner of Toffee Publications Ltd (the publishers of CARPology and Maximum Carp magazines) and is the Finance Director. He is a non-fisherman but his hobbies are football (and supports Nottingham Forest), travelling, playing golf and spending time with his family. Previous to CARPology he has always worked in finance and retail with thirty-two-years of experience under his belt. Some of his many job roles are overseeing magazine and merchandise distribution, subscriptions, customer services and of course in charge of the magazines finances.

DAN SIMPSON
DESIGNER


Daniel has been fishing since his father took him when he was eight or nine to a North-Norfolk carp lake called Booton Clay Pit. This place inspired the direction he wished to go with his fishing carp! His first carp was approximately 9lb at 11-years-old. Daniels career in design has been constant since leaving school and has now been designing CARPology for over five-years and is in love with it. Recent news: Daniel has been using QuarkXpress for 20 years and has now moved to InDesign CS5 he is stunned how much better the latter is.

LOUISA CRIBB
DESIGNER


Louisa is our Freelance Graphic Designer and she has A-levels in Photography, a BTEC National Diploma in Fine Art and a degree in Graphic Design. Louisa had worked previously at two design agencies before being employed at CARPology and Maximum Carp. Her other passion in life is music and she enjoys metal and rock music and going to gigs around the country. Her job role is designing and laying out our sister title, Maximum Carp magazine.

TOBY LONG
STAFF WRITER


Toby has been fishing since a young age and started off chub fishing on local rivers and progressed to angling for small carp. Since then it has sparked a passion and he has thrived to catch more and more carp including many of the biggest in the waters he fishes. He became the youngest sponsored angler on the Dynamite Baits team in November 2010 and Toby is CARPology and Maximum Carps Junior Staff Writer and his jobs include the running and editing of the CARPology iMag, product reviews and work on the website.

IAN HOMEWOOD
TELESALES


Ian was previously working in the window-blinds industry before joining us here at Toffee Publications, making and selling them to buyers around the country. Ian used to previously fish and play golf but rarely finds the time any more; most of his quality time is spent with his family. Ian is one of our telesales staff and his job roles include subscriptions, selling produce, packing and posting merchandise and gear going in-and-out of the offices.
