Well, luckily for you, CARPology has a small piece of that answer. This month we seek to show you what the little secrets are in aiding them to catch. Take Jon McAllister for example (page 62), where he talks about his latest forty-pounder and how line angles and positioning aided in the capture. And Keith Moors on working out patrol routes and also understanding what’s going through a carp’s head when it crashes out of the water.
In fact, we’ve got edges, tips and advice to cover every style of angling. In Celebrity Cricket Fishing (page 40) our cover star Martin Locke shows you his new hooking mechanise. And if that’s not enough to impress you, then take a gander at his clever PVA bag trick. You can read more cast-iron advice in James Parry’s ‘Eight For 2008’ article on page 26 too.
And thankfully, you don’t need a financial advisor to get yourself orgainised and up to date with these latest gadgets and gizmos. No: this month’s CARPology does that just fine. Our BREAKdown Upgrade section has advice on keeping warm without spending a penny… how to get the best kit without losing your house and having to move back to mum and dad’s… and our brilliant map of Linear Fisheries St. Johns will give you a head start if you decide to fish down there.
Enjoy the issue.
