DT Bait Coldwater Green Beast Range

DT’s mission to keep you catching this winter follows a familiar recommendation: their Coldwater Mix. It’s a classic – especially when mixed with their Milk B and Green Beast flavour

Hang on, DT Baits… Where the hell have they been?!
We know, we’ve been scratching our heads, too! One of the longest-serving bait firms, with one the biggest and strongest heritages when it comes to producing outstanding carp baits, and we’ve not really heard anything from the Essex outfit for the past four or five years. But that’s all set to change…

Why, what’s going on?
It’s a classic example of not shouting loud enough. We LOVE DT Baits. As do thousands of other anglers. They produce some of the best foodbaits, pellets and flavours, and now, thanks to being under new management, everyone will get to benefit from these lush offerings.

You’re right about the heritage – that Coldwater Mix is a living legend!
Damn right it is! Regarded by those in the know as one of the very best coldwater carp baits ever formulated, it’s a carefully blended and balanced mixture of quality milks, birdfoods and appetite stimulants which gives you a bait that accounts for a serious amount of big carp each year. DT field-tester, Glen Maulkerson, had five fish during a 60hr January session which included a 45lb 6oz common, a 40lb 8oz leather and a 29lb 14oz mirror. Sounds alright, eh!

A mixture of pop-ups, along with dips and pellets are all available, and all ready to do battle with the carp this cold season

Sounds dreamy…
It is, but hang on, as it gets even better. Add to this the awesome Green Beast attractor and their world-renowned Milk B+ powdered palatant and the Coldwater Mix is the only bait you’ll need when it comes to demanding results in the coldest of conditions.

Hang on, it’s still only autumn and it’s not exactly ‘cold’, is it?
But now’s the time to start introducing the CWM, as a back-up feed to your normal boilies. You don’t need masses, just keep on trickling it in beforehand and then when the ball-crushingly cold weather arrives you’ll be ahead of the game.

What about the range?
Unlike 95% of all other bait firms, DT don’t just roll their boiled food in 15 or 18mm. They produce theirs in 15, 18, 22 and saving the best until last… Da, da, daa… 10mms! This teeny size now opens up endless possibilities – especially for the winter months – such as adding them to your spod mix, spray them like a matchman feeding maggots, in PVA bags or a stack of two tipped with one of their new 10mm Fluoro Pop-Ups. “GIMME”: From £11.99 a kilo; dtbaits.co.uk
