Summit Tackle don’t do things by half, and their Premier Ali range of bars and sticks is testament to some incredible British engineering. They take high-quality 16mm-diameter aluminium and turn it into something tough and practical, but also something beautiful. This is angling kit without compromise.
The Premier Ali line-up includes fixed and adjustable buzzer bars, standard banksticks, extra-tough drill-like banksticks and a stabiliser. Each piece boasts a distinctive fluted design around the screw threads and an enhanced anodisation process (three times the standard amount) to the finish, leaving a more durable, scratch-resistant coating.
The aluminium has a wall thickness of 2mm, which is more substantial than other similar ranges on the market and makes the sticks and bars extremely hard to bend. The solid aluminium inners on the adjustable banksticks and buzzer bars is also milled flat from top to bottom to enhance clamping strength.
All the banksticks have stainless-steel points, while the D-Bit versions - designed for rock-hard ground - have a unique drill-like point to power into unyielding terrain.
