Camo from head-to-toe

We've always loved Snugpak. We've always loved Fortis's style and the modern-twists they apply, so the outcome of this collaboration can only result in one thing: complete awesomeness!

There’s a simple reason why Snugpak doesn’t change – they’re effin’ ace is why. Still, every now and then they throw a curve ball and this is most definitely one of them. They’ve partnered up with the prestigious sunglasses brand (who are also their new UK distributer), Fortis, to produce two, one-off special outer garments, both of which come with a tasty tweak to last year’s ongoing trend of camo. And when you pair this with the gritty British heritage of Snugpak, you just know you’ve got a banger on your hands.

Fortis SJ-9 DPM Camo Insulated Jacket

Having a jacket which will keep you warm down to -15şC is nice. Having one which is exclusively made for Fortis Eyewear (and in the UK too) in DPM fabric is amazing. That warmth comes from the renowned military-dressing brand’s Softie Premier filling, whilst the outer fabric is made from Paratex Light – a closely constructed fabric with a ripstop construction which even before it’s drench in DPM camo is a superstar thanks to being treated with a durable water-repellent, along with tbeing highly breathable and windproof.

Throw in a tailored design to fit the contours of your body, a rollaway hood that’s fully insulated, a water-resistant main zip, concealed pockets, interior pockets, elasticated cuffs with thumbholes and you’ve got a jacket which isn’t just bloody warm, but it’s both functional and damn awesome looking too.

“GIMME”: Available in sizes M to XXL, £149.95

Fortis vs. Snugpak

Fortis SJ-9 DPM Camo Sleek Salopette Bib & Brace

As you’ll have probably gathered from our ramblings so far: Snugpak comes with some serious pedigree. This is a brand who’s built its rep on military contracts – dressing the British Army for decades, so who better to supply you with this year’s and future winters’ outfit? Especially when you consider this collab version with Fortis comes in the super popular DPM camo.

They come with all the bells and whistles: vulnerable areas which are prone to cold contact such as the hind and knees are reinforced with a waterproof padding for extra comfort, whilst the rest of your body is kept warm and snug thanks to that Softie Premier filling they’ve built their lifesaving history on.

“GIMME”: £109.95 and available in sizes M to XXL
