Beating The Elements

To keep dry—both from inclement weather and your own sweat—on your next trip, throw on Speero’s Adara Jacket—it blends high-end performance with brilliant value

Image

Speero have always earned high marks from both the media and customers for their outstanding build quality, and the Adara Jacket is no exception. Borrowing technology and fabrics that are commonplace on other outer garments which run well into three figures, it ticks all the correct boxes when it comes to comfort, performance and style.

Whilst many jackets can offer protection from the elements, you can often pay a big price… in sweat! That’s not the case with the Adara. It has a 10,000mm breathability rating alongside a 10,000mm hydrostatic-head waterproof rating. That means you’ll stay bone dry but you won’t be baked alive in warmer conditions.

It’s elegantly cut, too, with a slightly oversized back so it doesn’t ride up when you bend over/cast/climb a tree. A snug fit is crucial to keep cold winds and driving rain out and the Adara offers plenty of adjustment to achieve just that. Elasticated drawcord, Velcro cuffs and the hood has a toggle drawcord so you can snug-up tight!

The detailing is on point: the orange grabbers on the zippers set off nicely against the muted green outer and non-nonsense dark lining.

For those who crave storage for their phone, receiver, keys and the like, you’ll be pleased to find a total of four zipped pockets: two large ones located at the base and two more at chest level—the latter pair are fully waterproofed. And all of this awesomeness comes in a wide range of sizes, from S to XXXL. £89.95
