Fox Halo Light range

The new range of lighting solutions from Fox promises to drag us out of the dark ages...

With a range of tackle more expansive than just about any other carp brand, Fox can pretty much sort you out for all of your carping needs. So, should we be surprised when they drop an impressive range of bivvy lights, with a clever twist? No. We definitely shouldn’t, and because of the impressive product-development pedigree that the Essex tackle giant has, we were more than a little excited to check out what they had to offer! With four new ways to make your life on the bank that bit more comfortable, isn’t it about time that you stepped out of the dark ages? We’ll walk you through the range…

Halo Power Multi Light

We love this one! It’s a compact, bright LED bank that has a host of uses and some hidden features that you’ll love too! Principly, it’s a bivvy light with four power settings, but really there’s far more to it than that. It features a screw thread, so you can screw it to a bankstick and use it as a top-notch aid for night photography, even if you’re doing self-takes. The bit we love the best? It’s fully rechargeable, and even features a solar panel, so you can charge it up on top of the bivvy, and it comes with a USB cable to allow you to charge your phone or tablet off it. With a run-time of 4.5hrs in the very brightest setting, the battery life is pretty impressive too! £59.99

Halo Power Light

This chap’s a bit simpler than the Multi Light, but don’t let that put you off because it’s also USB rechargeable, allows charging of devices via a USB cable, and kicks out a healthy 400 lumens in the brightest of three modes. Amazingly, you’ll get a whole 12hrs in the highest mode too! It has a Carabiner clip, which allows it to be hung from brolly spokes, etc., as well as a magnetic base for attachment to the shelter. £49.99

Halo Bivvy Light

The lightweight of the range at just 60g, the Bivvy Light pumps out 200 lumens in its brightest setting, and has a further three lower increments, so nice and subtle! You can choose to use either white LEDs or red ones and the run time is in excess of 7hrs in the brightest mode. Now, you’ll need to buy a couple of your standard AA batteries to power this one, so it’s not rechargeable. It does however, come with a little hanging loop and magnetic base plate to allow easy attachment to the shelter. £15.99

Halo Multi-Colour Headtorch

This solid little number has three different colour options; the first time that we’ve seen white, red and green on a torch before! It also boasts four brightness settings in the white option, with the brightest a creditable 350 lumens. Colour and brightness can be adjusted via the single rubberised button, and the beam can be angled to suit your needs. You’ll need three AAA batteries to run this one. £24.99
