JRC Extreme TX Headset & Landing Net

Landing carp at night can be tricky. But not now...

Landing carp at night can be tricky. And tricky means tangles. Solve this problem with JRC’s clever new TX Headset and equally as impressive XT Landing Net - both designed to make night netting a damn sight (literally) easier.

With a raft of features to make netting at night easier, the JRC Extreme TX Landing Net (Inc Light) is the brand’s most angler-friendly product to date. All the team’s efforts have been focused into creating a landing net with unprecedented levels of clever design features and tweaks over their competitors.

TX Landing Net

Built around the same three age-old pillars of a landing net: strong, lightness, fish-friendly, but it’s the devil in the detail that really sets the TX apart. Strong, rigid carbon arms combined with the heavy-duty spreader blocks results in a lovely bow-type shape which is both solid and sturdy. The net itself is made from a soft, fish-friendly, deep green mesh and features magnetic retaining systems; this means the bulk of the mesh is out of the way as your latest catch slides over the non-stretch fluorescent tension cord (more on that in a mo!) but as you lift, the magnets separate and the fish will sink down into that deep mesh.

The two-piece 6ft pole is of course made from high-performance carbon so it’s strong yet lightweight and features Japanese shrink wrap grips. And when fully constructed it results in a stunning, full carbon-looking landing net.
Reverting back to that tension cord, not only does it keep the net from sagging over time, helping to retain that lovely taut bow-shape, it also remains visible even when you’re landing your fish in the middle night. And whilst all these unique features impress, what really sets this net apart from others on the marketplace is the unique clip-on landing light.

TX Landing Net Light reacts to the built-in motion sensors, switching it on and off automatically, and allowing you to safely land fish in the dead of night. Featuring longlife, ultra bright LEDs, this ridiculously useful light provides a concentrated area of light to help you guide your latest result into the awaiting net; there’s even a red light option to avoid spooking them, too.
The TX Landing Net Light is available separately for £29.99 and fits the JRC Stealth and Contact landing nets. You can buy the TX Landing Net (Inc Light) for £119.99, or just the net for £109.99.
