Bait-Tech Particles

If carp could choose, there’s every chance that they’d want to eat Bait-Tech particles everyday! Here’s the range...

The East Anglian bait behemoth has been knocking out the freshest particles going for years now, and a whole generation of anglers rely on the convenience of their trademark jars. Clearly, there’s a whole lot more to Bait-Tech than particles alone, with strong boilie, pellet and particle ranges attracting attention from high-profile anglers as well as the carp themselves. We’re taking a closer look at the Super Seed Particle range though, and mighty impressive it is too…

The Big Questions

There are loads of prepared particles out there now, why these?
Partly because they’re time-proven and partly because they’re so damn effective. The unique mixes that Bait-Tech has developed mark these particles out as something special too. We love the Spod Mix for instance, which is packed with salted maples and don’t get us started on the Nutty Spod mix!

Go on then, what do I need to know?
Perhaps the most striking thing to note is that the particles contain no preservatives or chemicals. For us, that makes their convenience all the more impressive. Next, you’ll love this: all the oils that are released by the particles during cooking are retained… all of them!

How’s that then?
Well, it’s all about the way that Bait-Tech cooks the grade-A particles. They’re actually cooked in the jars, which means that none of the goodness is lost during the process. Let’s face it, it’s the oils that carp love so much, isn’t it?

To mix, or not to mix?
Well, the choice is yours. Like we said, Bait-Tech has kindly formulated several dedicated mixes for you in the shape of the Parti-Mix, Spod Mix and the Nutty Spod Mix (new for 2017). However, if you do want to knock up your own mixes, then their Pure Hemp, or Chilli Hemp will serve as the perfect base for any particle mixes.

Throw in a few prepared tigers (yes, they make them too!), and pellets and you’ve got some proven carp grub right there…

How they cook the particles

1. To ensure all bacteria is killed, the jars are cooked in high-pressure steam cookers at 121-degrees.
2. From start to finish, the whole process takes just over two hours – one for cooking and another for cooling down.
