Will had fished 60 nights without success
Having fished 60 nights without success on a southern gravel pit, Will Edwards was finally rewarded with this 44lb 4oz mirror.
The 19-year-old quantitiy surveyor from Hampshire fished to a gravel bar at close distance using a Hinge Stiff Rig and a 14mm White Krill pop-up.
"At around 10pm Friday night a couple of good fish topped over the spot and the bite came at 4am Saturday morning," explained Will.
"After a hard fight I knew it was a good fish and it turned out to be the Ramdom Lin at 44lb 4oz."
Will fished over a bed of bloodworm and krill boilies soaked in hemp juice then powder coated in krill powder and hemp and tigers.
